The upgraded platform allows paygate customers to add additional modules designed to deliver improved functionality as well as other benefits:
Introduces the capability to white and black list accounts, combating fraud risk and avoiding costly errors.
Automated file upload
Using the latest security protocols and encryptions, automatic file upload imports and validates payment files, protecting file integrity and reducing fraud risk.
Smartphone for MFA
Supercharge your payment security and flexibility with the latest multi-factor authentication (MFA) capabilities, removing reliance on smartcards.
There are no costs to upgrading and your contract charges will not change when you upgrade to the newest platform. All your file mappings and data will be moved across as part of the upgrade work that we do. If you choose some of the new functionality available to you through the new modules, these will be charged pro-rata rate for the remaining term of your contract.
The current paygate version will eventually become obsolete. We recommend upgrading as soon as possible to take advantage of the latest and best standards of data security, risk mitigation and process efficiency. By booking in your upgrade now you can schedule the move at your preferred time and avoid possible delays in upgrading your system.
All customers will be upgraded in the near future. By staying on the current version you are not taking advantage of the latest bug fixes and the strongest security and functional features of the newest platform as soon as you are able. Booking your upgrade now will enable you to choose your upgrade slot. Customers who do not book will be allocated one in 2022.
If paygate is part of your service offering to your customers, upgrading to the new platform does not affect your customers in any way. All your file mappings and data will be migrated across so you will continue to create your payment files just as you do now.
No, because your version 2 will remain available for at least 3 months or until you are comfortable with version 3.
We will schedule the update at a time that’s convenient for you. We usually allow half a day to apply the upgrade and complete the testing.
There will be little impact on you as we handle the upgrade. You shouldn’t need any training but if you do we have weekly webinars and training videos.
